Pidilite launches Araldite range of epoxy adhesives in Nepal

Pidilite Industries Ltd (Pidilite), a leading manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, and construction chemicals has announced the launch of Araldite range of epoxy adhesives in the retail market of Nepal.

Pidilite recently acquired the Consumer and Bazaar business of Araldite in the Indian Sub- Continent (including Nepal) from Huntsman Group, USA.

Araldite range of epoxy adhesives has been the preferred choice in a variety of industries and applications. It is the preferred brand for marble/stone cladding, automotive repair and other Do It Yourself (DIY) usages. Araldite covers a broad range of applications and offers both production and performance benefits in industrial applications, construction segments, and consumers. 

Managing Director of Pidilite Industries, Bharat Puri said, “Araldite is an iconic brand and a world leader in Epoxy Adhesives. This launch will help us strengthen our robust portfolio of adhesive and sealant brands and will complement our product portfolio. With this step, we are confident to make Araldite a stronger part of the Pidilite range of products in Nepal.”

According to the company, in Nepal, Araldite will be available in multiple variants including Araldite Standard in 13 gm, 36 gm, 90 gm,180 gm and 450 gm and Araldite KLEAR in 10 gm,90 gm and 180 gm, Araldite AW 106 (1 kg ) and Hardener HV 953 (800 gm). The products will be competitively priced and will be made available across Nepal over the next few months.

Pidilite’s well-known brands in Nepal include FEVICOL, the high-performance range of adhesives and Dr. FIXIT, an advanced range of waterproofing solutions for healthy homes. The Children Art brand ACRON and Adult Arts brand FEVlCRYL, Plumbing Sealant brand M-SEAL, are popular among consumers and professionals.
