The 12th National Population Census 2021 has been launched throughout the country today by collecting the particulars from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Enumerators of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reached the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas this morning and inaugurated the National Population Census 2021 by gathering statistics related to the President’s family.
CBS director-general Nebin Lal Shrestha said the National Census 2021 has been formally inaugurated by gathering statistics about President’s family to start with.
According to him, the President was asked the 80 questions included in the questionnaire of the Census. The CBS stated that statistics related to the Prime Minister’s family would be collected today itself after this.
In this way, the campaign has kicked off across the country from today.
