Super Ghalemdi Hydropower Project in Myagdi has provided Rs 1 million for the development of a community building at Narchyang village in Annapurna Rural Municipality-4, one of the project-affected sites.
Project’s Managing Director Man Prasad Kandel and promoter Abhishek KC on Thursday provided the amount to the chairman of Annapurna Youth Club for the construction of a community building. The amount was handed over in the presence of local levels’ representatives, project officials, and local residents.
Managing Director Kandel said that the project is supporting the people in the affected areas as part of corporate social responsibility. The project with the capacity of 9.14 megawatts is of the run of the river type and the affected communities would get 10 percent of the company’s share.
