Gold prices continued their downward trend today, with a drop of NPR 1,500 per tola, following a decrease of NPR 1,700 on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
With the decline, the price of gold has fallen to NPR 192,200 per tola. Yesterday, the price stood at NPR 193,500. After decreasing on Thursday and Friday last week, gold prices had briefly rebounded by NPR 500 per tola on Sunday.
Previously, on Baisakh 9, gold had reached an all-time high of NPR 197,900 per tola.
Silver prices have also declined today, dropping by NPR 20 per tola. The current market price of silver stands at NPR 2,140 per tola, as per the latest update from the Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
