The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has allocated a budget of Rs 36.67 billion for the fiscal year 2023/24.
It is estimated by the CAAN that the equivalent resources will be received this year and the expenditure will be Rs 36.66 billion. It is estimated that there will be a net saving of Rs 6,200,000. The CAAN cites the previous year’s deposit balance and bank balance as the sources of funding for the current fiscal year.
The CAAN has said that it will earn Rs 15.88 billion this year. The officials of CAAN have estimated that Rs 6.64 billion will be received from loan/share investment.
Out of the budget allocated, the CAAN is going to spend Rs 19.39 billion as capital expenditure. It is estimated that Rs 2.117 billion will be spent on staff expenses. It is estimated that the operating expenses will be Rs 4.34 billion and an allocation of Rs 50.89 million has been made for employee bonuses.
