Advertisement entrepreneur, singer and lyricist Nirmal Raj Poudel’s dancing number song ‘Chhamma Nachaun, Chhappa Nachaun’ has been released.
During a program on Monday in Kathmandu, the artists who acted in the video released the song together. The song has been written by Poudel and music has been arranged by Mohit Munal.
Along with singer Poudel, Saroj Khanal, Vijay Lama, Ramesh Upreti, Kiran KC, Rajaram Paudail, Nirmal Sharma, Dhiren Shakya, Rabindra Khadka, Gajit Bist, Gambhir Bist, Sunil Katwal, Khushbu Khadka, Gopal Dhakal Chande, Rohit Karki and others
have been featured in the video.
The video is directed by Manish Paudel, choreographed by Gambhir Bista and cinematography has been done by Mahesh
Paudel.
Poudel, who is also the founder of Welcome Advertising, brought the song after 15 years. Poudel, who has been active in
dance, comedy and singing activities in school since the age of 13, has acted in the films ‘Kasam’, ‘Preeti’, ‘Pukar’ and ‘Aamako
Maya’.
Singer Poudel said that ‘Chham Nachaun Chhapp Nachaun’ was released with the desire to sing a slightly different style of song
compared to other singers.
“Sometimes, if you want to dance to a party, Hindi songs and disco songs are played. We don’t have any original songs that
we can dance to”, he said about the song and added, “I have a habit of writing jingles for advertisements, so it was not difficult
for me to write songs”.
The video has been released on the OSR Digital YouTube channel.
