Kathmandu, November 1: The Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) has come up with a concession package targeting the foreign tourists visiting Nepal next year.
Under the package, 30% discount on room tariff and 15 per cent on food and beverage will be offered to such tourists by its member hotels, resorts and guesthouses during the Visit Nepal Year (VNY) 2020. The government has set a target of attracting 2 million tourists in the country in 2020.
The HAN expects that the newly announced package announced will help increase the inflow of international travellers in the country. It further claims that Nepali hotels are committed to offer excellent services to them to make the mega campaign a success.
The association has also been saying that improving the road network and other infrastructures are also important for fulfilling the core objectives of the VNY 2020.
Over 1,600 hotels, resorts and guesthouses are affiliated to HAN. Most of the star hotels in the country are also under its umbrella.
