May 18 : Nine more COVID-19 cases have been detected on Monday morning, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
These new cases include seven males with their ages ranging from 21 to 30 and a 28-year-old female from Ishnath Municipality-2, 3 and 6, Rautahat. Similarly, another 38-year-old woman from Karaiya Mai-5, Bara also diagnosed with this disease at the Kathmandu-based National Public Health Laboratory earlier today.
With this, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nepal has jumped to 304. As of today, the country has witnessed two fatalities and 3 recoveries. A 25-year-old man from Banke died on Sunday (May 17) while the first case, that of a 29-year-old new mother from Sindhupalchok, was reported on Saturday (May 16).
