Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel has established a committee to draft the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26. The committee will be led by Shree Krishna Nepal, Head of the Ministry’s Budget and Program Division.
The committee includes Foreign Division Chief Dhani Ram Sharma, Revenue Division Head Uttar Kumar Khatri, Administration Division Head Than Prasad Pangeni, Inland Revenue Department Deputy Director General Tirtha Chiluwal, and Joint Controller General Sushila Aryal.
The committee is tasked with setting budget principles and priorities, facilitating the selection of ministry-level projects, drafting budget statements, and providing recommendations on policies and programs.
