Kathmandu, October 12: Foodmandu Pvt. Ltd., an online food delivery company, is partnering with Doctors on Call Nepal (DOC) in order to protect its staff members and customers from the possible health hazards related to COVID-19.
As per the MoU signed between the two parties, the DOC has helped Foodmandu in prioritizing safety measures, reinforcing screening protocols, and organising trainings/workshops, among others, to ensure such protection.
Moreover, the former is also assisting the latter in aligning the IT
systems and support to evolving work requirements, providing online medical consultation for employees and their families, and preparing contingency plans for the company in the context of the prevailing COVID-19 crisis.
“For us, the DOC is effectively playing the role of a health and safety consultant. And, it has been facilitating us to correct the safety gaps in the product delivery cycle and serve our customers in the best possible way,” states a press release issued by Foodmandu.
