Kathmandu, October 11 : 5,008 new cases of coronavirus infection, including 2,672 in the Kathmandu Valley, have been reported in the country on Saturday (October 10), according to the the Ministry of Health and Population.
Similarly, the number of people returning home after recovering from COVID-19 stood at 1,229 while the active infection cases totaled 30, 818 yesterday.
Likewise, the number of persons in the institutional isolation was 13, 654, whereas 17, 164 were in the home isolation.
The ministry says that 74, 252 people have so far returned home after recovering from the disease while 614 people across the country have succumbed to it till date..
The nine districts with more than 500 infection cases include Morang, Sunsari, Banke, Surkhet, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Chitwan, Bhaktapur and Rupandehi. Manang and Mustang are the two districts with no single such case
