The price of gold has again set a new record in the domestic market on Sunday. The price of gold has surged by Rs 1,800 per tola today.
On Sunday, fine gold is being traded at Rs 120,800 per tola, compared to Rs 119,000 per tola on Friday. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations reports that this is the highest price of gold observed so far. On Thursday, the rate had reached a record high of Rs 119,300 per tola.
Similarly, standard gold is being traded at Rs 120,200 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 118,450 per tola on Friday.
Additionally, the price of silver has also set a new record, reaching Rs 1,545 per tola on Sunday. The price of silver has increased by Rs 5 per tola to the previous trading day of Rs 1,540 per tola on Friday.
The Nepali market has experienced the impact of rising international market prices, contributing to the consecutive increase in gold and silver rates.
