Metlife’s Head of Strategic Growth Markets in Nepal

Kathmandu, May 22: MetLife’s Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Growth Markets, Asia, Rebecca Tadikonda is visiting Nepal this week, together with MetLife’s Chairman for Bangladesh, Nepal, and Myanmar, Nurul Islam and Head of Strategy for Strategic Growth Markets, Asia, Ala Uddin Ahmad.

During the three-day visit, which commenced on Tuesday (May 21), Tadikonda inaugurated MetLife Nepal’s new dedicated customer service area called ‘One Customer Place’ (OCP) in the company’s corporate office in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. OCP provides a central location to provide customers with a more structured and best-in-class experience for their needs including making loan or policy changes, paying premiums, and understanding their product features and benefits.

Tadikondaoversees MetLife’s businesses in the high-growth markets in Asia, like Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nepal, and Vietnam, and new market entry. Rebecca is driving accelerated growth by enhancing distribution (partnerships, agency, and digital), leveraging digital and innovation, and increasing collaboration and co-investments in capabilities shared across the region.

“MetLife Nepal has done tremendous work as a pioneer in the insurance industry in this market, bringing a number of first-in-market solutions and digital innovations. It is wonderful to be here to meet our dedicated associates and discuss how we can continue to meet the evolving needs of Nepalese consumers by driving many best-practice initiatives in Nepal and across our strategic growth markets,” said Tadikonda.

Tadikonda will visit various MetLife offices across Nepal until 23 May.
