The 66th meeting of Investment Board Nepal (IBN) has approved the draft of the project license for the 669 MW Lower Arun Hydropower Project and authorized the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IBN to issue the license.
The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday, made the decision, according to IBN spokesperson Pradyumna Prasad Upadhyay.
The board also approved the draft related to direct investment in the Arun-3 Hydropower Project, which is currently under construction in Sankhuwasabha, and decided to recommend submitting the proposal to the cabinet for final approval.
Similarly, IBN has authorized its CEO to issue a survey license for reaching an agreement with the company that has proposed the ‘Auto Service Eco-Industrial Park’ project. The proposal was submitted to IBN as an unsolicited investment plan.
