The government has decided to accept a loan of Rs 15.8 billion (120 million US dollars) from the World Bank.
The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to accept a loan assistance of 120 million US dollars (15.8 billion rupees) from the World Bank.
The government is going to take the loan for the transformation of community schools.
Likewise, the Council of Ministers has approved 17 million US dollars (Rs 2.59 billion) for education projects.
The Council of Ministers has also approved the grant of Rs 410 million given by Japan for human resource development scholarships.
Similarly, the cabinet meeting has decided to approve in principle the Customs Tariff Bill submitted by Finance Ministry, approve the Third Amendment Order 2080 for the formation of Foreign Affairs Studies Foundation Development Committee and celebrate the National Education Day on September 19.
