Maruti Cements Limited has contributed Rs 11.1 million to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support people affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.

The cheque was handed over to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle by the company’s directors, Nand Kishore Rathi, Manoj Kumar Goyal and Sharad Goyal, along with the company’s Chief Executive Officer Anand Nepal.

The company said the contribution was made with the objective of providing relief and assistance to citizens affected by disasters and other difficult circumstances.

Maruti Cements also expressed its commitment to continue contributing to the welfare of the country and society as part of its corporate social responsibility. The company stated that standing in solidarity with victims and affected communities during times of disaster is a shared social responsibility.

The company paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the devastating flood and extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved families. It also expressed sincere gratitude to security personnel, volunteers, local communities and concerned agencies working tirelessly on rescue, relief and rehabilitation efforts during this difficult time.
