The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has shown a modest improvement. On Tuesday, the NEPSE increased by 6.6 points, reaching 2,246.84 points.

Today, shares of 305 companies totaling 12,081,606 units were bought and sold 66,626 times, amounting to a transaction value of NPR 5.384 billion.

In today’s trading, the banking sector decreased by 0.27%, the hotel and tourism sector by 0.04%, the manufacturing and processing sector by 0.25%, and the other sector by 0.18%.

While the investment sector remained stable, other sectors saw an increase. The finance sector rose by 2.65%, development banks by 0.80%, hydropower by 0.42%, life insurance by 0.67%, microfinance by 0.44%, mutual funds by 0.35%, non-life insurance by 0.42%, and the trade sector by 0.59%.

Shares of Saptakoshi Development Bank Limited and Ngadi Hydropower Limited experienced a positive circuit breaker, while the share prices of Atmanirbhar Microfinance Financial Institution Limited and Dolti Power Company Limited saw a negative circuit breaker.
