Kathmandu, September 4 : The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 1,228 new cases of coronavirus across the country on Thursday (September 3). With this, the total number of such cases reached 42,877 in the country.
Similarly, 927 persons recovered from the virus yesterday, thus taking the total number of recoveries in the country to 24,207.
Currently, there are 18,413 active cases of coronavirus, according to Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam. At a regular press meeting, Dr Gautam informed that six persons lost their lives to the deadly virus yesterday. With this, the death toll in the country has reached 257.
There are 10,671 infected persons staying in institutional isolation and 7,742 in home isolation. Similarly, 6,749 persons are in the quarantine across the country. Treatment is being provided to 141 infected persons at ICU and 17 with ventilator support, according to Spokesperson Dr Gautam. RSS
