According to the data provided by the Tourism Board quoting the Immigration Department, a total of 42,006 tourists arrived by air in March.

Last year, in March 2021, 14 thousand 977 tourists had come to the country. The March tourist arrivals of the year are the second-highest since the Corona pandemic.

Foreign tourist arrivals have been steadily increasing since the beginning of this year.

In January 2022, 16 thousand 975, and on February 19 thousand 766 foreigners entered Nepal.

Due to the mountaineering season in Nepal, the number of foreign tourists has also increased. A significant number of foreigners come to Nepal for spring mountaineering.
