May 28 : The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed additional 114 coronavirus cases in several districts on Wednesday (May 27). This is the highest spike in such cases in a single day in the country.
The newly infected patients are from Rautahat, Saptari, Jhapa, Makwanpur, Baglung, Rukum, Banke, Bara and Siraha districts. Similarly, their medical tests were carried out in Dharan based B.P. Koirala Institute of Health and Science, Koshi Hospital, Hetauda-based lab, Pokhara provincial hospital, Dang based COVID-19 lab, Bheri Hospital and National Public Health Laboratory, Kathmandu, respectively.
With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 886 with 183 recoveries. So far, the country has recorded 183 recoveries and three fatalities from the disease.
