NEPSE down by 44 points, trading over Rs 3 billion

The stock market index NEPSE went down by 44 points today. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, NEPSE that saw growth for last two consecutive days, went down on the third day to 2000 points.

The sensitive index also fell by 8.99 points today. Although the transaction amount is less than the previous day, it is above Rs 3 billion. Around 8.7 million shares of 222 companies were traded today.

Today, all 13 sub-indicators have suffered loss. Investors gained up to 9.32 percent and lost up to 6.82 percent, NEPSE informed. Shivam Cement reported the highest turnover today. The company had a turnover of Rs 190 million.
