The stock market index (NEPSE) has seen an increase for the second consecutive day. On Thursday, the NEPSE rose by 4.63 points, reaching 2,586.23 points.
The Nepal Stock Exchange has also reported an increase in trading volume. On Thursday, the total transaction value was NPR 4.603 billion, compared to NPR 3.59 billion on Wednesday. A total of 1,867,705 shares from 315 companies were bought and sold on Thursday.
On Thursday, 156 companies saw an increase in their share prices, while 77 companies saw a decrease. Shares of 11 companies remained stable.
The share price of Nyadi Hydropower Company saw a positive circuit, with a 10% increase in its value.
Similarly, the share of development banks saw the highest increase in trading volume, with a 2.40% rise in the index.
