The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has updated fuel prices, increasing petrol by Re1 per litre and diesel by Rs2 per litre. As a result, petrol now costs Rs163 per litre and diesel Rs153 per litre in the Kathmandu Valley.
NOC spokesperson Manoj Thakur also shared that the price of domestic aviation fuel has been decreased by Rs2 per litre, now priced at Rs126 per litre. Additionally, the international aviation fuel price for Kathmandu has dropped by US$15 per kilolitre.
These revised prices will take effect from midnight on Tuesday, though the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) remains the same.
The price adjustments are based on the latest fuel price list from the Indian Oil Corporation, which supplies fuel to Nepal.
