Kathmandu, September 30 : The Pokhara-New Delhi bus service is to resume from tomorrow after being suspended for the last seven months due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The very service is run by the Modern Era Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd as per which the buses of the company will take the passengers to the border point from Pokhara.
From there, the Uttarpradesh State Road Transport Corporation of India would again ferry them up to the Indian capital city New Delhi under the Nepal-Delhi Friendship Bus Service, according to Keshav Prasad Adhikari, the chairperson of the Modern Era Tours and Travels Pvt Ltd.
Before the suspension of the Pokhara- New Delhi bus service, passengers have to pay Rs 4,000 per person for using it. However, after its resumption, the very rate has been increased by Rs 5,000.
