Khasyauli, January 19: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal, has said the government was carrying out policy-level works regarding land management.
Talking to the journalists here today, she said the land management is being done on the basis of land use policy for the first time in the country.
The Land Management Minister also shared on the occasion that various Acts like the Land Revenue Act and the Guthi Act were in the process of amendment.
She expressed the conviction that the landless squatters’ problem would be resolved during the term of the present government.
Minister Aryal stressed that the problem of keeping land uncultivated and land fragmentation would be addressed with the implementation of the land-use policy.
