Marking the 104th birth anniversary of Pandit Navaraj Poudel and the third anniversary of Pt. Navraj Sharda Memorial Society, Pt. Navraj Sharda Memorial Society has celebrated various religious and cultural programs.

According to the organization, the main purpose to establish the organization with the aim of contributing as much as possible to the society, to modify various traditions and rituals in time, and also establish a scholarship fund to help the poor and brilliant students of the society who are turned away from education due to financial situation for higher education.

The program was inaugurated with Swasti reciting five Batuks and lighting a lamp in a Panas by chief guest ward chairman of Ward 31 Saroj Dhakal and garlanding the pictures of Late Navraj Poudel and Shardadevi Poudel.

Nirmalraj Paudel, chairman of Navraj Sharda Memorial Society, shed light on the background of the establishment of the organization and said that the organization was established with the desire to contribute to the society due to the religious education and motivation given by his father Navraj Paudel and mother Sharda Devi Paudel. He also mentioned that Late Navraj Paudel dedicated his whole life to Sanatan Dharma culture and social welfare.

The event was attended by members, officials, relatives, friends and prominent people of the village. This year, the organization is providing necessary stationery items for the helpless, orphan, poor, poor students studying in Ratnarajya Lakshmi Secondary School, Baneshwar. On this occasion, a group discussion and interaction about our religious rituals and culture was also held.
