Nabil Bank has unveiled a new cashback scheme based on QR transactions targeting women and youth ‘QR merchants’.
The scheme was launched under the ‘QR Code: Nabil Bank Digital Promotion for Women and Youth’ project, a collaboration between Nabil Bank and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).
The scheme has been launched with the objective of promoting women and youth through digital financial solutions using QR transactions, especially in the aftermath of Covid-19.
The term “youth” refers to an entrepreneur between the ages of 18 and 24 who owns or operates a business, as defined by the United Nations. Earlier, Nabil Bank had announced a similar cashback scheme on the occasion of New Year.
Under this one-month scheme, 10 percent or a maximum of Rs. 200 cash will be refunded. The scheme will be implemented throughout the month of Ashadh.
Through this scheme aimed at women and young entrepreneurs who do not have access to finance, Nabil Bank aims to bring such entrepreneurs into the banking channel, activate the old dormant merchants and promote sustainable financial transformation by providing them digital financial solutions.
