Rs 6.37 billion budget unveiled by 10 municipalities in Dang

Dang, June 26: All 10 local government units in Dang district have unveiled their budget for the fiscal year 2019/20. Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Lamki Municipality and other rural municipalities such as Rapti, Gadhuwa, Rajpur, Gadhuwa, Wanglachuli, Dangisharan, Babai and Shantinagar have simultaneously made public their budget totalling Rs 6.37 billion.

Ghorahi Sub-Metropoltan city alone has unveiled budget amounting to Rs 1.78 billion. Likewise, Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City has tabled a Rs 1.71 billion budget. Lamahi Municipality has presented budget worth over Rs 650 million, according to its Mayor Kul Bahadur KC.

Among the rural municipalities, Rapti rural municipality has introduced the highest budget standing at Rs 600 million. Each ward in this rural municipality will get Rs 5.4 million. RSS
