Rx 100 (an incredible love story) is a Telugu language romantic action drama film released on 2018. It stars Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the lead roles. Written and directed by Ajay Bhupati. It is based on the true life story of Shiva (a village boy in Godavari).
As the film is based on a true life incident, it is not like a typical cliché Indian romantic drama. Something special is in it. Though there is cliché love drama in the first half, the second half is totally shocking with an unpredictable twist and the makers executed it very brilliantly. The lead pair has also impressed audience with an incredible acting skill. Their facial expression and body language seems quite impressive. Even in the Hindi version, the dubbed dialogues seem splendid at some moments and quite weird at some scenes. The direction drastically improves in the second half and the audience will think twice before getting into a relationship after watching the film. The script is outstanding and best thing is that the director hasn’t made the film even slightly predictable. The supporting members have also showed a good presence in entire the movie, especially Ramki as Daddy. Rao Ramesh has given magnificent performance.
At last I would like to say that it is a good entertainment with raises awareness to today’s youth. As it shows the reality of our society and how the people are treated who are willing to go to any lengths in love. Some moments reminds us of Kabir Singh by showing the activities of an insane lover. The presentation is stirring and will excite the audience.
Note: The Bollywood remake of the film was announced by Nadiadwala grandson’s entertainment and Fox star studios on March 2019 starring: Tara Sutaria and Ahan Shetty (son of veteran actor Sunil Shetty) in the lead roles. The film is titled as Tadap and it was scheduled to release on 2020 but, because of this pandemic it got shifted. The new release date has not been finalized yet.
