April 24 : The essential medical equipment brought by a jet aircraft of Shree Airlines to combat the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic from Singapore has today been handed over to the government.
The very aircraft with the call sign 9N AMB CRJ 700 landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 8:30 am today itself.
It, which flew to Singapore on Thursday (April 23), was scheduled to return on the same day, but the arrival flight was delayed due to adverse weather condition. According to the company’s institutional manager, Anil Manandhar, the medical items weighing 50 kilos brought by the aircraft through chartered flight were handed over to the Ministry of Health and Population as well as Temasek Foundation.
Manandhar informed that Shree Airlines brought and handed over such materials as part of its corporate social responsibility. RSS
