Lately, there has been a growing trend amongst the urban dwellers to visit spa and wellness centers. Such people are reeling under the yoke of physical and mental stresses triggered by today’s hectic lifestyle. So, they seem to be increasingly looking for spa and other therapeutic services to get relaxed and rejuvenated.

Commenced in 2008, it is a prominent name in the country spa and wellness industry. It has been offering more than sixty spa and wellness related services to its clients. Such services are categorized under various headings like Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Hydro Therapy, Yoga and Meditation, Packages and Gentlemen Services.

Under the heading of  Massage Therapy, there are Tranquility Signature Massage, Aroma Therapy, Shirodhara, Hot Stone Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.  Similarly, under the heading of Beauty Therapy, there are services like nail care, threading, waxing, herbal pack, and make-up. Under hydrotherapy, there are facilities like sauna, steam bath, and Jacuzzi.

Tranquility offers packages like Adam and Eve, Tranquility Signature, Tranquility Half Day, Ayurvedic Half Day, Bridal and Post Bridal.    Under the heading of Gentlemen Services, there are hair-cut, hair color, hair oiling, shaving, face gallery, threading, waxing, nail care, and deluxe nail care.

     Apart from these services, Tranquillity has also the international standard gymnasium facility for those looking to stay fit.

It boasts of 16 outlets in a total of which 14 are operating nationally and 2 internationally.  

Our chains of the spa have beautiful ambiance, state-of-the-art technology and, above all, professional experts to deliver the best possible service.

  When it comes to the professional experts, they educated in renowned institutes in Thailand, Switzerland, UAE, Australia, and India. Moreover, they have a proven track record of providing spa services in various luxury hotels like Marriott Putrajaya, Palm Garden Hotel Malaysia, Mirage Lords Inn, Le Meridien, Hyatt, Radisson, Shangri~La and Intercontinental Hotel Group.

Enjoying the spa and wellness related services are considered to be the expensive affairs meant only for the economically sound people. However, Tranquillity has a special scheme designed to provide its services at an affordable rate for all those interested.    

“Under such a scheme, one can acquire the privileged membership for a year by paying just Rs 9,999. After this, s/he can is entitled to enjoy massage and spa services worth Rs 15,000 for free and also 50% discount on all other services at any outlet,” she informs.

Established in 2012, Glorious Spa is another acknowledgeable name in the arena spa and wellness.  Located at CTC Mall in Sundhara, it has been offering international spa therapies, Ayurvedic spa therapies, oriental spa therapies, natural herbology, wellness spa programs and beauty spa.

Under international therapies, one can enjoy a classic Swedish massage, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage, pre and postnatal massage, MLD manual lymphatic drainage massage, and sports massage.  

Similarly, under Ayurvedic spa therapies, there are services like Abhyanga,  Shirodhara, Picu,  Shiroabhiyanga, and Panchakarma.  One can enjoy massage therapy, Tibetan Kun-ye massage, shiatsu, reflexology, Indian head massage and acupressure under the heading of oriental spa therapies.

At the same time, the wellness spa programs of Glorious spa incorporate facilities like cardiac fitness,  yoga, and meditation,  Zumba/aerobics,  steam bath, sauna bath, and Jacuzzi. Likewise, the beauty spa service offers facial, make-up, manicure and pedicure.     

“The definition of wellness of any person is determined not just by the absence of any disease in his/her body.  In a broader sense, it also incorporates his/her physical, mental and spiritual health. As such, we are focussed on facilitating our clients to bring greater harmony between their mind, body, and soul,” says BR Shrestha, Executive Director, Glorious Spa.

According to him, the spa and other wellness programs of his company are designed to cater to the specific needs and aspirations of the clients. “Such needs and expectations may be related to the healing experiences for aches and pains or energy renewable.  Similarly, they could be about strength building or detoxification. “

  In order to attract more clients, Glorious Spa has also announced a special package.  Under such a package,  one can avail of body massage, scrub or reflexology, and steam or sauna by paying only Rs 2,499. Similarly, any client can enjoy a body massage, facial or manicure and scrub or pedicure at just Rs 2,999.

Established some years back in Hattisar, Miracle Spa is yet another entity providing various spa and other therapeutic services.  Such services include a steam bath, sauna bath, reflexology, body scrub, trekkers’ massage therapy,   Thai massage therapy, head and shoulder therapy, Swiss massage therapy, etc.  Similarly,  hot stone therapy, spinal massage, deep tissue massage, Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic therapy, Shirodhara, gel nails, manicure, pedicure and nail art are other facilities being offered by it.

“Our experienced professionals provide these services to our customers in the finest possible manner,” says Sabin Thapa, owner, Miracle Spa.  

“Spa ensures several benefits like promoting better sleep, supporting weight loss,  improving blood circulation, reducing the frequency of headaches, promoting radiant skin and increased happiness.  And, we are fully determined to   facilitate our clients to full reap such benefits.”

In order to promote its business, Miracle Spa has come up with four different special packages.  Under the first such package, customers get sauna bath, hot stone therapy and Ayurvedic therapy at Rs 2,500. Similarly, under the second such package, a steam bath, body scrub, and deep tissue therapy are provided at Rs 2,500.

The third special package offers facial, underarm waxing and manicure/pedicure at Rs 2,500.   Likewise, the fourth special package has a sauna, Thai massage, and reflexology at Rs 2,200.  

 Among other packages, Miracle Spa offers corporate packages for those professionals involved in banking, insurance, advertising, etc.

The people involved in the corporate sector tend to have an extremely busy work schedule. So, they are undergoing the yoke of more stress and tiredness while managing their personal and professional life.

In this context, the corporate package, according to Thapa, is conceptualized to allow the clients to not only to de-stress themselves but also to increase their productivity/ efficiency at the workplace.
