Kathmandu, March 2: A task force has been formed to set up quarantine meant to check up the health of all the inbound and outbound passengers at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
It was formed as per the decision made by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai during a meeting held in his office yesterday.
The task force aims to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic by taking all necessary measures regarding this.
The task force, formed under the chair of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Director, Dev Chandra Lal Karna. It comprises Dr. Hemanta Chandra Ojha of Health Ministry, Rajesh Panthi, TIA Emigration Office Director, Sharad Kafle of the airline’s operators committee as its members.
