Kathmandu, August 2- A Thailand-based carrier, Thai Lion Air, has announced it will operate its scheduled flights on Bangkok-Kathmandu sector. According to the company, it will fly to Kathmandu thrice a week-Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Thai Lion Air expects that the new fight help support the country’s tourism industrt by bringing more tourists from Thailand to Nepal. It is presently operating 12 domestic flights, two cross-region flights and over 20 international flights.
Its inaugural flight landed at Tribhuvan international Airport in Kathmandu on August 1.
