Kathmandu, March 25 : One more individual has tested positive for COVID-19 in Nepal today.
According to the National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) under the Ministry of Health and Population, the infected person, the swab of whom was collected yesterday, is undergoing treatment at Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku. This is the third confirmed case of coronavirus in the country.
Nepal recorded the first case of COVID-19 on January 23 after a male, who had returned from Wuhan, China, tested positive. The second such case related to the above-mentioned female was reported on March 23.
So far, as many as 687 people have been screened for COVID-19 of which 684 have tested negative.
