Secretary at the Ministry Gopinath Mainali said that the online system would ward off the fraudulent since the finger prints of the landowners would be stored safely. Similarly, the online system is expected to minimize the presence of the intermediaries in the land revenue offices.
The details of the land would be registered in the system and the offices concerned verify the details while the finger prints along with the photos of the buyers and sellers are computerized in the system.
The Ministry said that the system would also be expanded in the Land Revenue Office, Surkhet after a week. Currently, there are altogether 131 land revenue and survey offices across the country. RSS
