May 22 : The total cases of COVID-19 in the country has hit 504 with 20 new cases detected this afternoon. 30 people were confirmed to have contracted the disease today morning by the Ministry of Health and Population.
Among the newly infected, three males aged 19, 23, 26 respectively are from the Kailali district, a 28-year-old male from the Dadeldhura district, a 22-year-old male from the Baitadi district, fourteen males in the age group of 18-61 years from the Banke district, and a 41-year-old male from the Morang district.
The cases were discovere through tests carried out at the laboratories of Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi and Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj.
With this, a 433 males and 74 females till date have contracted the infection in the country.
