Doti, August 23 : All banks in Dipayal here in the district have been closed after the confirmation of COVID-19 in a bank employee. The private and government banks in the district headquarters were closed for five days on Saturday (August 22 ) after a 23-year-old woman employee at the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) Dipayal branch tested positive for coronavirus.
RBB Dipayal branch chief Ganesh Bahadur Bista said all banking transactions were suspended for five days to prevent the spread of coronavirus to other persons after the confirmation of the virus in the cashier woman. So far, 800 people in the district have been infected with COVID-19, the District Health Office stated.
