The e-token system ensures that the applicant will know which day his turn to get the labour permission will come once submitting the online form for labour permit. The applicant can also choose online from which office he/she wants to take the labour permit.

The DoFE hopes this measure will greatly ease the process of issuing labour permission to foreign employment aspirants and they need not wait at the labour office for long. At present, the government has been issuing labour permit from the labour offices in all the seven states.

The permits are distributed from Biratnagar of State 1, Janakpur of State 2, Kathmandu (Tahachal) of State 3, Pokhara of Gandaki State, Butwal of State 5, Surkhet of Karnali State and Dhangadhi of Sudur Paschim State.
