Minister for Finance Janardan Sharma tabled the Economic Survey-2021/022 in House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Saturday.
The survey includes the economic details of the country for the first nine months of the current fiscal year.
The government tables the survey in the Federal Parliament some days before tabling the annual budget. As per the constitutional provision, the government will table the annual budget today.
As stated in the Economic Survey, a total of 621 megawatt of hydroelectricity including 456 megawatt of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project is linked to the national transmission line till the first nine month of the current fiscal year.
The government has a target to link 1,629 megawatt of power to the national grid. In the current fiscal year, three megawatt of power is generated from sugarcane bagasse and 14 megawatt from solar system.
