Kathmandu, October 23 : Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsha Man Pun has directed the Nepal Electricity Authorities to ensure that the power supply is regular, reliable and effective during the Dashain festival. In a meeting yesterday with NEA office bearers and the Energy Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, Minister Pun said he hoped to near no complaints from NEA customers.
On another note, he said that as 9 million students were taking online classes from their home, we should think about the impact on them if power is irregular. In response, the NEA officials said as there is enough stock of electricity,, power cuts are unlikely. RSS
