Kathmandu, September 3 : The home delivery service is to resume from tomorrow in the capital, with the endorsement of the criteria on its operation on Thursday.
The local administration had banned the home- delivery of essential goods last week citing the risks of the spread of coronavirus in the capital.
Chief District Officer in Kathmandu, Janakraj Dahal, says that the home delivery service will be limited from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm every day as per the endorsed criteria.
” In addition to the adherence to the safety measures to stay away from the coronavirus, the related companies need to provide information about the vehicles used for home delivery services to the District Administration Office, Traffic Police, and Department of Commerce, Supply and Consumers’ Rights Forum.” Similarly, the person who delivers food from door-to-door must have a PCR negative report.
