With a 1.46% increase in the NEPSE index, the prices of 8 listed securities hit the circuit breaker today.
Out of the 316 securities traded, 7 saw a positive circuit with a 10% price increase, while the price of one company’s stock saw a negative circuit with a 10% decline.
As soon as the market opened, investors who increased their investments conducted a total trading volume of NPR 9.31 billion. This led to the share prices of 200 companies rising, while 38 companies saw a decline in their stock prices.
Among those, stocks of Vishal Bazar Company, Karnali Development Bank, Corporate Development Bank, Sindhu Development Bank, Sarpot Microfinance, Sapta Koshi Development Bank, and Manushi Microfinance saw a positive circuit breaker.
On this day, the share price of Mithila Microfinance Financial Institution saw a 10% decrease, resulting in a negative circuit breaker.
In terms of sector performance, all groups except the Finance group saw an increase in their sub-indices. The sub-index of the Finance group, however, saw a decline.
