Kathmandu, September 2 : Nepal is preparing to reach air service agreements (ASAs) with three countries namely Indonesia, Finland and Russia.
It was disclosed during a meeting of the High Level Management Group of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) held recently in the capital. The meeting decided to move forward the process of signing the said agreements with these countries.
Similarly, it decided to coordinate with all the airlines in order to ensure that the airfare amount now remain the same as it was before the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the meeting, the very decision would be reminded this to all the airlines through the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
It may be noted that the international flights from the country was resumed from Tuesday (September 1) after the suspension of nearly six months to fight the pandemic. Only Nepalis and representatives of diplomatic missions, and development partners are being allowed to fly into Nepal, with the continuous restrictions on foreign tourists.
