Lack of timely repair of furniture meant for the members of Federal Parliament has forced lawmakers to be worried about their physical safety. In today’s session, major ruling party Nepal Communist Party (NCP) lawmaker Khagaraj Adhikari sought the attention of the Speaker towards the sorry state of chairs and asked how many times they had to request the House for the repair. He called on the Speaker to ensure lawmakers’ physical safety and in response, Speaker Mahara said his attention was drawn to the matter.
