Inaugurating the SDGs resource centre, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina said the resource centre would be very useful to gain knowledge on the related issues and work for achieving the SDGs. “SDGs are common goals of the world.

For the implementation of SDGs in Nepal, the NA had formed the committee. It works in collaboration with NGOs, private sectors and experts,” he informed. According to National Planning Commission Member, Min Bahadur Shahi, it takes Rs 2025 billion annually to prepare plan annually to meet SDGs. Political leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties also spoke on the importance of the resource centre on occasion.
